Installation Guides

Sierra Climate units are designed with serviceability and field installation in mind. For best performance and long-term reliability, installation should be completed by a licensed installer and aligned with the unit’s configuration.

Built for clean installs and easy service

Our documentation is designed to help installers move efficiently through setup, wiring, and commissioning — while keeping reliability and long-term support front and center. If anything looks unclear during install, reach out and we’ll help you confirm the correct setup for your unit.

Before you install

A few quick checks up front help avoid delays during startup and commissioning.

Electrical

  • Confirm voltage and phase match the unit nameplate
  • Verify proper grounding and electrical protection
  • Ensure wiring is sized correctly for the application
  • Confirm control wiring and terminations are secure

Placement & startup readiness

  • Allow proper clearance for airflow and service access
  • Verify ambient conditions align with your design
  • Confirm refrigerant compatibility and system cleanliness
  • Review mounting, vibration, and drain considerations
